MLPipeLab, Inc. ("MLPipeLab," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at mlpipelab.com and provides data pipeline automation software for logistics and supply chain operations. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, use our services, or interact with us in any way.
By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this policy, please do not use our website or services.
Our registered business address is 220 Terry Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you may contact our privacy team at hello@mlpipelab.com or by phone at +1 (206) 847-3192.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service.
We collect several types of information in connection with the operation of our website and services. The categories below describe what we collect and from what sources.
Contact and inquiry information: When you fill out a contact form, request a demonstration, or email us directly, we collect your name, business email address, company name, job title, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message. This information is used to respond to your inquiry and to assess whether our product may be a fit for your operations.
Account registration information: When you create an account to use the MLPipeLab platform, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a password (stored in hashed form). We also collect the billing contact name, billing address, and payment information (processed through our payment processor; we do not store raw card numbers).
Configuration and technical information: When you configure MLPipeLab to connect to your logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP, or carrier EDI systems), you provide connection credentials, system endpoint information, and configuration parameters. This information is stored with AES-256 encryption at rest and is used solely to operate the data integration service you have configured.
Support and communication data: When you contact our support team, we collect the content of your support request, any attachments or diagnostic information you provide, and the history of our communications with you.
Survey and feedback data: If you participate in surveys, product feedback sessions, or usability research, we collect the responses and information you provide during those sessions.
Usage and log data: When you access our website, our servers automatically record information including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and the date and time of each request. This information is used for security monitoring, analytics, and improving the website.
Pipeline operational data: When you use the MLPipeLab platform, we collect operational metadata about pipeline runs: execution timestamps, row counts, error codes, latency metrics, and configuration identifiers. This metadata is used to operate the service, detect issues, and produce the monitoring dashboards you see in the platform. We do not collect the content of the data flowing through your pipelines unless you explicitly provide a sample for diagnostic purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. Please see our Cookie Policy for detailed information about what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Device information: We may collect information about the device you use to access our website, including device type, screen resolution, and browser settings, for the purpose of optimizing the website display.
Payment processing: We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment information. Stripe provides us with limited transaction data (last four digits of card, expiration date, billing address, transaction status) sufficient to manage your subscription. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Analytics providers: We use web analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. These tools may collect and process information about your website activity in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your cookie preferences.
Business contact databases: We may receive information about potential business contacts from professional networking platforms (such as LinkedIn) or business contact databases for the purpose of B2B outreach to companies that may benefit from our services.
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
The primary use of information you provide is to operate the MLPipeLab data integration service you have contracted for. This includes authenticating your account, processing your pipeline configurations, executing data pipeline runs against your connected systems, and delivering the pipeline monitoring and alert features you have configured.
We also use your information to process payments, manage your subscription, provide customer support, and communicate with you about service status, planned maintenance, and material changes to the service.
We use aggregated, anonymized operational metadata (pipeline execution statistics, error frequency by connector type, feature usage patterns) to identify areas for product improvement, prioritize connector development, and diagnose systemic reliability issues. Individual-level usage data is not used for this purpose without separate consent.
With your consent (or where we have a legitimate interest), we may contact you about new features, product updates, webinars, or events that may be relevant to your logistics data operations. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at hello@mlpipelab.com.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We use information about access patterns, IP addresses, and account activity to detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and other security incidents. In the event of a detected security incident, we may use and disclose relevant data to investigate and remediate the incident.
We may use and retain personal information as required to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MLPipeLab, our customers, or the public.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information in the following limited circumstances:
We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business and delivering our services. These include: cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting and data storage), payment processors (Stripe), customer relationship management software, email delivery services, and analytics providers. All service providers are contractually obligated to use the information only for the purposes of providing services to us and to maintain appropriate security practices.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any changes to how your information is handled as a result.
We may disclose personal information when required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with a legal process.
We may share aggregated, de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you with industry partners, researchers, or in public communications. This aggregated data does not constitute personal information.

We will honor erasure requests where we are not required to retain the data by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.

For information you have provided to us, you have the right to receive a copy in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transfer it to another controller. Contact us to request a data export.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes at any time. You may also object to other processing based on our legitimate interests, and we will assess whether our legitimate interests override your objection.
