What cookies we use on mlpipelab.com and how to manage them.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator. Cookies are not programs — they cannot execute code, deliver viruses, or access your file system.
A cookie typically contains the name of the website that placed it, a unique identifier, and an expiration date. When you return to the same website, the website can read the cookie and recognize your browser, enabling features like staying logged in, remembering preferences, or tracking analytics.

When we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean cookies and all similar tracking technologies unless specifically distinguished.
MLPipeLab uses cookies on our website (mlpipelab.com) for several purposes. We use cookies to ensure the website functions correctly, to understand how visitors navigate and use the site, and to improve the site based on that understanding. We do not use cookies to display advertising on our website. Our site does not have advertising networks or behavioral advertising cookies.
Cookies set by mlpipelab.com are "first-party cookies" — they are set by us directly. Some cookies are set by third-party services we use (such as analytics providers); these are "third-party cookies." Both types are described in the sections below.
Our platform application (accessible after login) may use session cookies and local storage to maintain your authenticated session and remember interface preferences. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and are described separately in our Privacy Policy under platform data collection.
Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled without making parts of the site unusable. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms.
You cannot opt out of essential cookies through the cookie preference center, as they are required for the site to operate. However, you can block them using your browser settings, which may cause parts of the site to not work.

MLPipeLab does not currently use marketing or behavioral advertising cookies on our website. We do not place retargeting pixels or share data with advertising networks. We do not use cookies to track your activities across other websites for advertising purposes.
If our marketing cookie practices change in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before placing any marketing cookies.
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner is displayed at the bottom of the page. The banner gives you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in the mlpl_cookie_consent cookie and applied to all subsequent pages you visit.

Instructions for managing cookies in major browsers:
Note that blocking all cookies will affect the functionality of many websites, not just mlpipelab.com. Essential cookies required for site functionality cannot be made available if you block all cookies at the browser level.
On mobile devices, cookie controls are typically available through the browser application settings. For iOS Safari, go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security. For Android Chrome, go to Chrome app → Settings → Site settings → Cookies.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. There is currently no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. We currently honor DNT signals by not placing analytics cookies when a DNT signal is detected. As DNT standards evolve, our implementation may change to stay aligned with emerging conventions.
Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services we use to operate and improve the website. We have no direct control over cookies set by third parties. The third parties we currently use are described below, along with links to their respective privacy and cookie policies:
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to collect aggregate website usage data. Google Analytics sets cookies described in Section 3.2 of this policy. Google LLC processes the data as a data processor on our behalf, in accordance with a data processing agreement.
Google Analytics data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States. For information about Google's data practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you interact with our support chat feature, Intercom, Inc. may set cookies to identify your browser for subsequent chat sessions. Intercom's cookie and privacy practices are described in the Intercom Privacy Policy.
When you access the MLPipeLab platform after logging in, the platform application uses session cookies and local storage to maintain your authenticated session, remember your dashboard preferences, and deliver the interface features you use. These are technically distinct from the website cookies described above and are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Platform cookies are not available for opt-out, as they are required for authenticated platform access. Blocking platform session cookies will prevent you from logging into or using the MLPipeLab platform. Platform cookie data is described in our Privacy Policy under the "Platform Operational Data" section.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add or remove cookies, change our analytics providers, or as legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, display a notification on our website. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
If we add new non-essential cookie categories or change to a different analytics provider, we will refresh the cookie consent banner to request your updated consent where required by law.
